Professor Geraldo Genetto Pereira

Meu nome é José Geraldo Pereira de Jesus. Sou natural de Itambacuri, Minas Gerais. Sou o primogênito de sete irmãos. Nasci em uma comunidade rural denominada Córrego do Engenho. Para cursar a educação infantil, andava cerca de 5km à pé. O sexto ano do ensino fundamental foi uma etapa difícil para os estudos, pois, a escola ficava cerca de 20 km de minha casa. Eu saía às 4h da manhã para chegar à aula às 7h. Retorna após o fim da aula. Eu chegava à casa às 15h a 16h. A demora se dava devido não haver transporte escolar para os estudantes e termos que ir à pé para a escola. Durante os três últimos anos do ensino fundamental, morei na casa de minha madrinha que cuja residência ficava próximo da escola em que eu estudava. Mudei para Belo Horizonte. Investi o pouco dinheiro que ganhava em uma escola particular para cursar o ensino médio. Venci uma batalha para consegui uma vaga em uma universidade pública. Hoje, sou licenciado e mestre em Letras  pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Leciono Língua Portuguesa, Literatura e Redação em escola pública e militar. Sou escritor, blogueiro e Youtuber.

My name is José Geraldo Pereira de Jesus. Am native of Itambacuri, Minas Gerais. I am the firstborn of seven brothers. I was born in countryside, community called Córrego do Engenho. To enroll in early childhood education, I walked about 5km on foot. The sixth year of basic education was a difficult stage for the students, because the school was located about 20 km from my home. I left at 4 o'clock in the morning to check in the classroom at 7 a.m. Return after or end of the classroom. I arrived at home 15h to 16h. The delay was due to the fact that there was no school transportation for the students and they had to go to school. During the last three years of elementary school, I stayed at the house of my godmother who lived next to the school where I studied. I moved to Belo Horizonte. I invested a little money that I earned in a private school to attend or teach a medium. I won a battle to get a vacancy in a public university. Today, I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Literature from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). I teach Portuguese Language, Literature and Writing in a public and military school. I am a writer, blogger and Youtuber.
